2026 Classification
Community Engagement
The Carnegie Foundation's Elective Classification for Community Engagement 2026 cycle is around the corner! If your institution is up for reclassification or first-time classification and looking to get more information on the cost, we have released an IPEDs estimator to help your institution prepare for the 2026 application. The IPEDs tool is extremely helpful, but please note that it is not the final determined fee to apply for the classification.
Note: Applications can only be purchased beginning January 2024. The deadline to secure the application and initiate the process is November 4, 2024. For questions, please email cjones@acenet.edu
