The mission of Dissertation Dish is to highlight quality emerging research in the field of service-learning and community engagement by providing a platform for recent doctoral degree recipients to share their work more broadly. Dissertation Dish does so by hosting monthly webinars for all to attend! Dissertation Dish aims to make new emerging research in the field more accessible to all. Join us at our upcoming Dissertation Dish session, “I was Invisible to Them:” An Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis of Community Engaged Researchers’ Experience of Institutional Support,” coming up on February 1, 2024, at 12:30 - 2 pm PST. We are excited to welcome Dr. Emily Phaup, the Professional Development Manager for Campus Compact. Dr. Emily Phaup will share her study that provides a glimpse inside the lived experiences of faculty and offers insight into the forms of support that would be most meaningful in their work.
