Meet Joy, your GivePulse helper.
Ask about your data in plain language, reflect on an experience with a thoughtful guide, and find the right event in a single sentence. Joy is here to help you think and act. It's not here to think for you.
Sample data, shown for illustration.
Whatever slows you down, just ask.
Three everyday headaches. One helper.
Ask Joy about almost anything
The kinds of questions Joy can answer, across every kind of community.
Three ways Joy helps
Keep scrolling and watch a conversation with Joy unfold.
Ask anything about your groups' data.
Follow up, dig deeper, export what you find. Every conversation is saved to your history, so you can come back and pick up right where you left off.

Turn an experience into a real reflection.
When someone logs an impact, a guided conversation helps them turn what they did into a written reflection they can insert. The words and the insight stay theirs.
Describe what you want. Joy finds it.
On the public event and group search page, type a sentence like "outdoor events this weekend near Austin" and Joy turns it into filters for you.
See Joy in action
A two-minute look at Ask Joy, Reflection Helper, and Smart Search working together.
You don't need to be a spreadsheet expert to use your data.
Time back
Stop merging reports and filtering exports. Ask the question, get the answer.
Real clarity
See what's working, what's not, and where to focus, without digging for it.
Deeper reflection
Help volunteers and students go past "it was good" to what it actually meant.
Built to help people, not replace them.
GivePulse exists to strengthen communities. We built Joy the same way: to make your work easier and your judgment stronger, never to make the decisions for you.
You stay in charge
Joy answers, suggests and drafts. You decide what to use, what to change and what to ignore.
Grounded in your own data
Joy answers from the information in your GivePulse account, so you can check what it tells you.
The reflection is theirs
Joy asks the questions. The experience, and what it meant, belongs to the person who lived it.
