Junior Product Manager & QA Tester (Hybrid Role)

GivePulse is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Manager & QA Tester to join our team. This hybrid role combines product management and quality assurance responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to both the development and the quality of our software platform. You’ll be working closely with our product and development teams to ensure we deliver exceptional products and user experiences.

OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, business) to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Become an expert on the software, our users, and our market.
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Track and report on product performance and user feedback.
  • Participate in planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of software applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Ensure the product meets the highest quality standards before release.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, technical writing, product management, testing, development, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with development methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with software testing tools and automation (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
