This year three outstanding nonprofit organizations won the GivePulse GivingTuesday 2022 raffle and received a matching donation from GivePulse. Learn more about our award winners.
Asha Hope Amanaki
Asha Hope Amanaki is a nonprofit organization working on helping those without homes in the Portland, OR metro region. In winter months, they host Operation HOPE where in they make goodie bags for those staying in homeless shelters. The goodie bags contain woolen items for the winter, food such a granola bars, face masks and hand sanitizer, plus a hand written note card made by their volunteers to give the human touch. Asha Hope Amanaki is using its funds to continue Operation HOPE to provide their goodie bags this winter season.
Milestone Decisions, Inc.
Milestone Decisions Inc. is dedicated to providing residential care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them enjoy meaningful lives. Their GivingTuesday fundraiser was dedicated to expanding the success of its community garden with a simple goal: create the most functional and fruitful environment for their residents to nurture & grow, as individuals and collective community members.
Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County
Habitat for Humanity of San Luis Obispo County is putting its donations towards building 9 new, affordable homes in Paso Robles, CA. Pictured here are photos from their first-ever Playhouse build. This is a fun, creative program that supports their mission by bringing together partners, sponsors, and volunteers for a creative day of hands-on construction of a playhouse. The playhouse is then donated to a local family or resold in their ReStore. They only recently broke ground on the new 9-home construction build project in Paso Robles, so there aren’t any new exciting photos for that project yet.
